well how many can relate to a mother lawyer and doctor father with an older sister at princeton?  i never lived in the projects but it was still funny!

i never said it wasn't funny. i just didn't relate.
i dont relate to Olivia on Scandal but i like the show.
idk if i thought it was funnier to me though...Sanford and Sons was funnier...they said the n word which is always funny

i do think sanford and son was hilarious.

i might need to start watching Scandal.  it seems pretty popular on bhm and at work.

You think?

Everyone likes the Cosby show

It be a nice change from house of Payne

U gotta think like a television producer. What type of show would garner more black television viewers? Let's say a Cosby-type show and a show like Shawty Lo's 10 baby mama's are being pitched. I'm sure the women of BHM would watch the Cosby-type of show but yall would also check out the Shawty Lo show. Then when you think about the less conscious black audience they'd probably skip the Cosby show but tune into the Shawty Lo reality show. So they only gonna put money into shows that get the biggest audiences.

This reminds of this video I watched about black business and what you can sell to the black community right now. Check it out, it's some good game in it.

Nope.
They'd call it corny.
I watch pretty much anything with a black cast though.
I'm weird.

What are y'all going on about A "Cosby like show" would do just fine.

I'm sure it would too. Attract all ages

i have a problem w/ ppl comparing any ol' show w/ black ppl to the cosby show.

ex. that reed between the lines.
yes its about a black family.. and even stars a cosby kid.

but it lacks  things that the cosby show had.. WHich i think was a big part of the cosby's success.
1. good writing.
2. good acting.
these are the reasons I dont watch that show.. and I've attempted to on many occasions.

same goes for lets stay together.

A Cosby show-esque show would do terrible.

the fact of the matter is, no one really watches sitcoms anymore.
It's all about dramas and reality tv these days

Exactly.
Plus if they made a Cosby like show all people would do is compare it and complain about lack of originality. I hate when BHM plays coy.
