I wonder what percentage of schools actually do have gender neutral/unisex bathrooms in place. I'm thinking back to my time in HS, and I'm pretty positive the only unisex bathroom that existed was in the front office. I know because I'd go there to drop a deuce because it was relatively clean.
I imagine some issues if a transgender teenage girl, taking hormones but still with their male genitals, is forced to use male bathrooms with teenage boys. I don't know how it all works, but I'd hope any school that knows they have a transgender in their school will have gender neutral bathrooms available.
Seems like the school in the OP is up on that.
Just thinking about it, my university was filled with unisex and handicap bathrooms that were right next to the male/female bathrooms. lol I always used those too.

many of the malls/ restaurants etc that I go to.. have family bathrooms.. where anything goes.
maybe its b/c im from NY..but a lot of places I've been have bathrooms labeled "z" where again.. anything goes.
and the bathroom at the school in the OP-- is in the nurses offices. i always remember my schools having separate bathrooms in the nurses office... so I'm sure a lot of schools can accommodate transkids.
but this family is asking for too much IMO.

I'm sick and tired of people thinking the rest of us have to bend over backwards, and do hand stands in order to make them feel "comfortable". An who dyes a first grader's hair purple to begin with? Those parents get an F for failure to parent with some common sense IMO.

I Feel sorry for the little child . I would never agree with what the parents are requesting . I Work in the Nurses office and classroom PT at my Daughter's school . India or any little girl in her class would scream if a boy came into her Bathroom . I agree with everything you said Tbaby. How can a 6 year old child determine Transgender Status ? The parents are suspect in my op .

As an adult, I would prefer not to have male genitalia in the bathroom, however I guess do u. For my child, no. When the bathroom is clear, SHE can go in. My baby doesn't need to see peen to prove someone else's point. Why should my baby be uncomfortable to make their baby comfortable? Or how about someone just escort him into whatever bathroom?

I lowkey wish I had parents like that when I was little. Those are the kind of parents you can slap around and get to give you ish on Christmas that no one else would get
So useless.

| Me either...doodoo smeared on walls, bloody pads and tampons, used condoms but never genitalia. In Cancun, so many of the bathrooms were unisex. It sucked bc one, I could never barf in piece and two, I couldn't fix myself up without some lame ass all in my grill. I tried to see one guys penis in there but I couldn't. I'm curious to this day.

yall r lucky.
i remember when i was in JHS.. they had this thing.. where when someone was in a stall.. other girls would kick the door in.. so everyone would see her.
bleh.
there were girls that would change to their swimsuits in the bathroom b/c there was no locker room. so more naked ginas.
there were nasty girls that would show their pubic hair to prove they were "women"
ive seen way too many Ginas.
