I could not seriously date an atheist--I don't see how any Christian could. In essence, I would be allowing you to deny my heavenly father--and that's not something I'm willing to do. That's like me telling you how awesome my earthly mother is, and you telling me, "Whatever--that b*tch ain't sh*t--she don't do nothing for you." I'm just not ok with that. I need my man to be able to pray for me when I can't pray for myself.

Would you side-eye a guy who talked about how awesome his mother is, and he has never met or seen her...and no one else has either?

Once again, it isn't like that with many atheists. "Denying" and "disbelieving" are two different things. I personally don't believe in any god, but if you want to believe, that is your choice. That is not denying or depriving you of your belief system. I don't pray for anyone, but I do keep them in my thoughts. You probably couldn't date someone who is extreme, just like I would never be able to date someone who is an extreme believer who would tell me I was going to burn in hell for not believing in what they do.

For me it's just like you don't have to believe in god to be a good person and have morals and all that so I just don't mind at all. Lol

There is so much f*ckery in this post. I as a Christian, have never condemned anyone to hell except for my damn self when I be out breaking damn near every commandment there is. I really dislike all of the generalizations going on, it's pure ignorance on both parts. Anyway, to answer the question, no I do not believe that I could date an Atheist.

If she's done plenty for him, and he's seen her work in his life, then nope--not at all. There are plenty of people that honor folks they've never met, and no one they know has met them either.

Religion is a very emotional thing to a lot of people and as long as we can respect others beliefs as long as they do no harm than we all can live in harmony.

It's almost like a mental illness to me but I won't get into that.
