Okay thank you, I'm trying to avoid going through a lawyer and all of the fees. I'm not sure if that's what they are, I'm looking at the website right now. I want to be able to write and file them myself, something I can put on my resume.

Well they're two very different things and have different purposes. The purpose of a trademark is to protect the consumer, copyrights protect the artist and creator.

You may need to consult an attorney to decide which works best for you and if you even need federal registration.

Why would you need filing experience on a resume?

Just open my avenue's in all areas. I know you can make a lot of money. Thank you for clarifying.
A friend wants me to help him do both, I'm thinking it's for a medical drug
