Could be interesting, but it didn't explain how she came to this conclusion.

Yeah the article is not well written but this statement :
She conceded that women's rights campaigners have neglected family

Is pure fact.
Pure feminists can't even lie and say it isn't.
This is what lead to choice feminism .
They shredded women for choosing family over work outside the home saying it was innately demeaning and disgraced the efforts of the women in the movement

I agree with her but I also disagree. I wish the article would have given me more insight to why she feels that way, it seemed as if the whole thing skimmed the surface of the issue. I also wonder, given the history of feminism, who she is really directing her comments towards...

I think every group has a spectrum of people in it.  I don't feel like it's the dominant perspective, but everyone's reality is different.

Ill say that the ferocity has tempered greatly but there was a time where a significant number of women who deem themselves feminists did not value domestic work and those who made conscious decisions to remain there.

I don't know.  I guess I'm just in so many minority "fighting against the grain" movements, that I'm careful to recognize that it's usually our loudest, more abrasive personalities that get the most attention.  I don't know what your experience is, but most of what I see is moderate and downright indifferent unless it's talking about legislation.  At the end of the day, as long as there's a system in place to support both lifestyles, it'll just be people arguing back and forth.  I think discussion is healthy.  It's when there are barriers put in place for either side that people start to worry.

I'm not talking about present day.
Today the focus is on employment and legislation and abortion/contraception/rape
