Depends on the type of fasting.  As you progress I'd suggest light exercise. Nothing excessive but just enough to get the body going. Decrease the duration and intensity of exercise as the length of your fast progresses. If you're only fasting for a bout a week, you can resume exercise as normal though some people find it difficult. Listen to your body.

Im fasting to rest my body and clean it.I have actually noticed my skin feels softer.My face is glowing and I don't feel as sluggish.

Yes.Today is sooo much easier and Im actually not having as many cravings.

Negative. It depends on how long one is doing it and how and their current state of being. Fasting can be very beneficial despite the negative connotation from people who aren't educated on it. People in many cultures fast regularly w/benefits.

now those extreme.. water only type 'fasts'.. no bueno. 

i have been planning on doing a 3 day juice cleanse.. 
it will be nothing but organic greens and a few fruits. 
for health reasons. 

i may add 1 or 2 raw organic protein powder servings per day into the mix just cus i dont want anymore muscle depletion

I fasted only once, for 24 hours. The following day my face was glowingStar
It was hard, but I drank lots of water. My stomach felt very small by the end of the fasting-time.
