I've heard of people using glutamine supplements, but I'm sure what they're supposed to do. 

Maybe Afro can chime in?

0.5 mile run warm up
hiit workout http://litealloy.com/workouts/485 (took me about 19 min)
jump rope 20 min
0.5 mile run cool down

i run a lot and have wide feet

so asics, new balance, saucony

i also change my sneakers every 500 miles 

ive been running my whole life and i don't spend a lot on sneakers...you can find these brands at kohls, tjmaxx, and marshalls
