I have a question....Im trying to work on my upper body strength ....but all I have is a couple resistance bands....should I invest in some weights  or does it matter? Ive been using the ban for a majority of my workouts but Im not sure if its been effective or maybe im not doing the right moves for the right areas.

Help a sister out

gkisses,
you can use the bands for more resistance. tighten then up more/make the shorter.
when that stops working, i'd start investing in weights.

also, if you don't want to get weights, drop down and do push ups. There are programs out there to get to a certain number of push ups.  I personally just started with as many as I could. Every other day, I increase that number by at least 1.

use your own body weight...i do bodyrock and zuzka light workouts

here's a search engine for those workouts...you can narrow a search down by "no equipment" to find workouts that don't require weights

Gkisses, My favorite exercise for upper body strength is the yoga plank pose. Just time yourself and make sure you are exceeding yourself consistently. It's great for the stomach as well.

I am not pooping on her because this is great looking. But to those looking to lose 100 lbs or more, don't freak out if you have sagging skin. It happens. The woman above had hers removed you can see. And whoever did it, did a great job. When you reach your goal weight just take a pound or two off for the excess skin weight.

Good luck all

No, that's her natural tummy.
I've seen others achieve the same thing.
