I did P90x didn't like it, it made me more bulky than lean...I leaned out once I stopped doing p90x it gives results but not what I wanted right now Im looking at tracey anderson method metamorphis I might try that.

If you were gettin bulk muscle, it sounds like your weights were too heavy and your reps were too light, IMO.

Don't recall using any major weight with p90x just the straps and body weight

i got pretty lean and used very heavy weights...they advise doing more reps (11+) for leaner muscles

but everyone's different

Youre right. Its relative. I used much heavier weights than the chick i was doing it with but I still got lean muscle. And more reps, lighter weight (based on your fitness level) is generally agreed to as the method to get lean muscle. Thats why I dont understand why women have a problem doing 'men' exercises. You can do the same exercises as them as get different results.
