I remember a night not too long ago and she wanted sex from him and was being frisky and he was like openly frustrated by the proposition it was weird.
I do not like him at all though so I may be slanted.

I think some women treat being rejected as a bigger mystery than it really is. A mix of conceit and flawed expectations.
Dude gets turned down from sex. Takes the L, rubs one out, and tries again tomorrow. Woman gets turned down from sex. Consults Robert Stack, Dr. Phil, Joey Greco, Sherlock Holmes, and the Hardy Boys.

Heck yeah it's happened.  Freshman yr my boyfriend had to study
for an mid term exam (he was a junior) and I came over to his dorm room
anyways. I knew he had a test but whatever I wanted a little personal time. Eff yo exam and your future negro! I almost accomplished my mission but then he stopped before we had sex and literally jumped out of bed shaking
his head 'no no no I got to study CC'.  He later made up for it lol but I was still mad.
