Great Thread, Ritle-Skittle! Didn't see it first time around.
Let me add:
Folk need to give themselves enough time to learn their hair before doing something drastic. There's a long learning curve with natural hair. There's always something new to discover.
Folk also need to not feel guilty if the decide to go back to chemicals. Its your hair. Do you.
Please stop jumping on bandwagons. Give yourself a few months to deal with 3 products and one styling process. There's a lot of info out here. But, you need to pinpoint what ya hair is craving before you start doing fifty million things. Its easier to see what's working and what's not.
Some old school practices and products really do work! I luv some petroleum when used properly. If it works for you, don't let the 'hair gods' dictate what you put in ya hair.
That's all that I can think of now
