Alright, so I took those first set of braids out and ba dop boom! My hair grew an INCH!!! I'm giving alot of credit to this INSANE heat I'm in! An entire inch in one month! =D I'm actually getting it braided back again today. I think braids will be my basic PS to grow my hair. I'm SOOOOOO close to CBL eeee!!

Thanks, I think if I keep things up and stay in this heat my hair will continue growing at an inch per month. I just started back with the JBCO oiling every night, I'd stop for almost an entire week. But I'm getting back into it, so hopefully I'm doing everything I can for my hair to grow it's happiest and healthiest.

Emily L, how are you liking the Mane&Tail as a leave-in?I always wondered about Mane&Tail products but I always thought they would not be moisturizing enough for afro hair.

For my hair, it loves it!! I soaks it up!!! I haven't been using it recently since I'm in braids but I'm going to get back to it. It was really helping me in terms of growth and hair strength and keeping my hair soft aswell.

I'll be taking my braids out probably over the weekend, then doing a protein treatment, deep conditioning and washing my hair in sections, detangling, MSO and idk, I'll try getting it back in braids as soon as possible to continue growing my hair. I think that as my main PS is really growing my hair I really see it flourishing now that I've moved and this heat got me lol

So I took out my braids tonight, had them in for almost 3 weeks. I put my hair in 4 sections and applied some deep conditioner on dry hair and oiled my scalp with carrot/tea tree oil and baggied up. I'm going to the beach tomorrow (hopefully) so no point to wash my hair, I'll do it when I get back. So I'm going to sleep on like this tonight.

Washed my hair in sections and out them up in 4 puffs which I've been rocking and will continue to rock for the week until I can find someone to do my hair back in braids. But I just wanna give my hair a break from the tight braiding.
