Even if there wasn't any penetration, any kind of sexual contact with a minor should be punished. He is a predator. I hope he is put in jail. Leave the muppet, and go straight to jail.

I just saw the press conference. Cecil said he wasn't the only older man he had been with at that time. I hope he names the others too and that they are all punished.

I'm pretty sure the show might go on. They have the technology to replicate elmo's voice, and they could just get any puppeteer to move Elmo.

So does this mean Elmo is not gonna be on the show anymore??? |
| from article: <<. Even though Clash has let the “Sesame Street” set, the
show will go on. “Sesame Street” producers say that, even without
Clash, Elmo will essentially still be Elmo. Clash certainly had mastered
the tone of voice and inflection that “Sesame Street” fans have come to
love over the last 28 years, but the crew believe Clash is not the only
man who can get the job done.
“Sesame Street” producers said, “Elmo is bigger than any
one person and will continue to be an integral part of Sesame Street to
engage, educate and inspire children around the world. And, we hope
that this proves to be the case because it would be horrible to see an
American tradition go down the drain because of one man’s criminal
allegations and lawsuit.>>

Elmo will not be Elmo. Some characters just can't be replaced.

Jim Henson has been dead for a minute, but Kermit keeps on trucking. He probably has an understudy that will replace him. I feel horrible for Clash's teenage daughter.
