I have a Lava Flo stick for edges, it says it's 450 degrees, it's not. LOL But it gets close to my edges really good and helps to finish a style up. You can't do your whole head with it though. It's great for children, it doesn't burn them and they don't cringe like a with a pressing comb.

I have never heard of that one before but I did see the Red Kiss Root Straightner in Essence this past month and I was going to try it. It is much more cheaper than the one you posted and so far the reviews I have seen on this one has been good. I'm anxious to try it because I do want to straighten my hair without getting burned by a pressing comb Unhappy. It comes in 2 sizes, 1/2 inch and 1 inch. I plan on getting both at the end of the month.

FYI, I have 4B hair.

I've never tried it but I want to and have heard good things about it.
I saw it on ebay for a bit less $$ than on the original site.

I might just get that.

Oh I've used it on all kinds of hair cause I'm a stylist, but I have 3B hair. It used to be 4A but it changed after I had my twins.
