ORS dries up and flakes and turns white so boo to that, creme of nature argan oil edge control is really good. i use my kera kare wax stick mostly cuz that lays my hair down. looking to try the design essentials one. and that hicks one previously posted seems good too

ORS works fine for me. I spray with Infusium 23/water mixture, let almost dry, then use the ORS. Sometimes I use a lil clear or broen gel before the ORS. I've used Hicks as well. For ME, it's not much diff.

let's jam custard seem to be working great for me now b4 that was using softee protein gel love the hold but kept thinking it would make my hair fall out even tho i have thick edges but don't use a brush.

I use it sparingly and it works well. I also find that I don't have to use it daily. I can get by with just brushing and using an edge wrap to get a couple more days out of it.
For reference, I have coarse hair and I am not concerned about my edges looking silky. As long as they are consistent with my style I am ok.

I like edge control, works a lot better than Let's Jam  But now, I just the tiniest tiny dab of that yellow gel they use in Lace Front section as glue. It works well. I would go look at the name, but you aint tryna use gel, so I'll be lazy lol OHH and for your mother, use monistat. If she wants to spend some money, use megatek and monistat
