i like the sound of that! i hear the edge control kinda melts on people so maybe the edge control will be used to smooth, and the gel will be there to hold it..but in turn the melting of the edge control will soften the gel? ookk

yup never use gel by itself....I always use it with water and something cream based or oil based to soften it..yet give it hold and shine...and the scarf....lawd thank ya for the scarf...

I have tried Edge control...
And Meh to that.. They can keep that ish...
 
And I prefer Ecostyler gel, my favorite oil, and a scarf!! My hair looking real slick and shiny right now! It is holding well and my hair is very soft to the touch!

I put my hair in a ponytail when wet and tie it down with a scarf and voila....my edges be layed.
