I've recently started studying this book, and its.....interesting. Geek

Is it just me, or does the author seem like a hater? LOL no but really, the first chapter was just him venting that theres really no point for anything. I did find some useful information buuuut.....I'm still side-eyin that whole book.

Any ladies want to study it with me?

LOL I love Ecclesiastes, especially the first 2 verses! I have to admit, the first time I read it, I chuckled a little. It does offer some great advice though. Here's a link I found on studying Ecclesiastes

I've read it.  The author was Solomon, one of the richest, wisest guys ever so I don't think he had to much to hate about.LOL  I don't think it's saying not to enjoy anything, the message seems to be the opposite.  Enjoy what God has blessed you with now while you can enjoy it.  And of course there's other great points too.

the link posted is really useful. i like what i've read so far:

Quote
ThePreacher wondered what many have asked: “What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun?”
In other words, what value or purpose is there for living? What is the meaning of life? Having been blessed with great material resources and wisdom, the Preacher was able to explore all avenues in his search. He writes to share with us the results of his own investigation, and to offer observations and words of counsel gleaned from his search.
