*le sigh* Another lost post. Welp! Let me try again, remembering to copy my post before submitting this time.
Momento, I've never heard of that use for denman either but, I can see how that could work. As for me, I haven't used my denman at all since I've gone natural. Even with it modified and rows removed, my texlaxed hair laughed at denman so, I don't expect my natural hair to be any more forgiving. Please give your review if you try it out.
Luv, Cleo is a big girl! I'm one who likes shrinkage because it makes the hair BIG and I LOVE big hair. Nice!
And of course, I LOVE hair pics. I appreciate your sharing. I hope to share some pics too soon.
So, I'm sitting here with dc in my hair. I'd usually use my steamer for dc'g but, I'm watching boxing tonight. I'll leave it in for an hour before rinsing out and them putting my hair back into chunky twists.
I felt the need to detox my hair because, I tried Shea Moisture curling soufflé (again) and, even tho it did seem to lock in the moisture pretty well, my hair felt really goopy today. Me no likey that feel.
But on a good note, I'm loving what I'm seeing in the mirror these days. Especially with my hair in these chunky twists. I'm happy with the thickness and the length that I'm seeing so much that it makes me run to stalk Hair Crush, who was my inspiration for going natural in the first place. I mean, I can't identify with her having very little shrinkage but, her thickness with length is completely drool-worthy.
Another person's fullness that I love is Mahogany Curls. But clearly, her texture is not like mine so, I can't identify with that at all. But I do admire it.
Ok, just wanted to chime in. Guess I'll grab my glass of vino and get back to the fight.
