Momentoindigo here are some jumbo 3" velcro rollers that can straighten your hair

If you get a portable hooded dryer with these,  you will be in business Tongue

This works on relaxed, texlaxed and type 3 something natutal hair. Not sure how it works on natural type 4 hair...maybe 4a natural a little.

i put my hair in 28 twists...ahh yeah im movin on up.  remember i started with 8 twists...ahh yeahLOL  last week when i washed my hair i just put it in 2 braids until it dried but i got sick of rebraiding it every night (i heard that...yes i am that lazy...2 braids wore me out).  after i twisted each section i trimmed about a half inch on each section.  apparently my right hand is bold as hell because when i got to my left side i started cutting an inch.   the funny thing is 3 months from now when i notice that my right side is longer than the left, im going to actually believe that its because my right side grows fasterStern Smile

imma roll the dice and not copy b4 hitting postLOL

I wouldn't go for velcro rollers as they can snag on straight hair let alone hair with a curl.(I didn't have the jumbo ones, but the velcro did snag here and there when I tried removing them, so those were not the rollers for me regardless of size.)

But magnetic rollers under a hooded dryer or a hair hood should do the job as well.

Edit to add: Great progress Swift!

Ya... no velcrow rollers hair. Our hair can't possibly be anything alike if velcrow rollers do anything other than create a knotted frizzy mess. Even on my hair when it's straightened they just turn it into an afro.

I was able to press my whole head in 25 mins (record timing, give me my nobel peace prize) by trying something different. I always felt inclined to press on hair that had been combed out dry or blown out etc... well this time I washed, conditioned, air dryed. Then the next day I combed it out and put it into 3 big braids for a braid out and i flat ironed a braid out, instead of my natural curl pattern or a frizzy blow out. worked much better since my hair was already so smooth. I use grapeseed oil to press this time. Probably won't do that again. It left it stringy and greasy in certain places even though I only used a drop.

* i also did my whole head that fast with one pass at 295 degrees.

i do want to try it though witht he rollers except i have zero access to a hooded dryer nor can afford one right now. it would probably come out more like rudy huxtable hair, which i won't mind if that's what I'm going for but her curl pattern is definitely a lot looser than mine.
