Hair Status: Natural
Expect to Achieve WL by: Dec. 2013- Giving myself ample time to get to WL!
My Short Term Goals: 1. Decrease or Eliminate SSK's 2. Learn how to deal with Cleo in a straight state since I will be wearing her straight for much of the colder months for the 1st time since being natural 3. Retain all growth
Regimen: I am a lazy, style challenged chick,.so my regie is simple.
I usually wash 1x per month, but since I'm going back to dc'ing and incoporating heat for the colder months, I may be cowashing every 3 weeks. When curly, I water my hair daily via my spritz or wetting in the shower.I moisturize with condish and seal with grease. I protective style 98% of the time via buns, but will throw a plaitout into the mix for a change. Clarify as needed with poo(usually 1x per month). ________________________

ladies! hope everyone is well!
@cherry, the cap keeps a lot of the water out, but some parts still get wet. it's much, much better than wearing nothing though so i definitely wear it.
@crown, thanks! i usually just use my leave in/moisturizer on my twists and have no issues, but since i have been washing my twists with a sulfate poo, i had serious tangles. i have taken care of them though and dc'ed with sheamoisture's anti-breakage dc. great stuff! :-)
@luv, congrats!! your hair looks great!
oh, and my new fave leave in is purabody naturals! at least, so far! :-)

Luv you already know how gorgeous your hair looks! Beautiful progress to you and Cleo!
You know, I have to admit, I know I trimmed my ends a good amount at the end of November, but when I stretch my hair I can't tell if I did. Cause it still stretches soooo long! I would hate to believe that my hair grew back that fast but....I dunno, maybe it has? I just don't want to put any false hope into my hair, expect the same growth rate for the upcoming months so I can be MBL for my fourth nappyversary. So I'm just gonna stay patient, keep on ps-ing, and pray for a miracle in April.

Girl, your hair grew back. Go 'head and say it! And expect it to continue growing at a good pace ~ since you're already praying for a miracle and all.
Looking forward to your MBL in April. All things are possible...

Thanks, Ladies for the luv!
K, knowing Nelly, she prolly did grow right back! Can't wait to see her in April.
Part of my new leg of my hhj is to learn how to moisturize Cleo properly while straight without extreme reversion. I think I may have unlocked the secret for Cleo.
I had to stop treating straight Cleo like Curly Cleo. Straight Cleo needs less moisturizer and heavier sealing than Curly Cleo. Yall know when folk say a 'dime or nickel sized amount will do" well, I need a couple dime sized amounts to moisturize Cleo. Brush through and seal. It worked like a charm!

Hey Ladies!
I'm still braided up. Going to do a takedown just after Christmas so I can get a good look at my 2013 starting point. I think I'm back past APL. Ya'll are making me want to takedown NOW! All that beautiful hair up in here.
By the way, I'm still using the Glovers and it is GREAT! A friend of mine made some Neem Butter and she swears by it, so that's the next thing I'm trying. She says its great from bringing back edges. Without the Neem smell!
Congrats to everybody on great growth!
I'll be making the final list this weekend so PLEASE, if you're on the bandwagon with us, post your stuff!!!

Okay, I just relaxed today.. Siting under the hair dryer now with my DC in. I used Creme of nature ( Argan oil ) Relaxer. I also added olive oil to my relaxer. So far my hair came out soft ans shiny. I also will be applying the two step aphogee protein packs after my DC. I don't have any rollersets so I will wrap my hair and flat-iron tomorrow for a Tru length Check. Happy Holidays!!
