I was at Dots yetserday and bought this really cute dress. The saleswoman was commenting of how good the dress looks on woman with a larger chest. I have a larger chest and really wasnt offened, but I just told her that I would use tape because the dress is backless. So she mentioned to me how she knows woman who use duct tape around their waist as a waist cincher. She also told me that the women in beauty pageants tape their bodies to have that true hour glass figure in their gowns and bathing suits. Plus, she also said it doesnt pull your skin as much. So I was thinking have people ever tried this to aid in weight loss. I've heard of body casting, which seems kinda extreme and costly. But I mean you can get duct tape for less than $1 in most places.

I was thinking of trying this. Was thinking of getting some saran wrap, and then wrapping the duct tape. I really havent worked out the part about bathing with the tape, but I figure I can change the tape every 2 days. That seems to be the time consuming part, but it would be less bulky underneath your clothes. And I wound not have those hooks to deal with or the rolling down of regular girdles...

And the tape comes in a variety of colors...LOL

Just wanted to know if you knew of anyone who did it and had some success??

O, btw, not sure how my hubby is gonna feel about me walking around with duct tape on. I havent brought up the idea to him yet...

I'd definitely like to hear if it works for you...and your hubby's reaction. LOL Based on your results I may decide to deal with my hubby's reaction.

Yes I have tried this before and hated it. After sitting and standing a couple of times that tape started to dig into my skin so bad that I just had to find a way to rip it off. Mind you I was in a public bathroom with no access to scissors or anything. All I know is that it had to come off. If you do try it please let us know how it works for you.

No it didn't hurt because for the most part it was really sweaty and not that sticky anymore. A friend of mine used to do this as well and would just take hers off in the shower so it would come off easier.

I had alot of left over ace bandage that i bought to use under my LF's & I have been thinking about trying to wrap my stomach up in them to see if it helps with the bulge but I haven't tried it yet.
