If you've drunk texted/dialed someone, and that person does not respond, should you apologize anyway or go on as if it's never happened?

i drunk called a guy friend who was in love with me years ago. i told him i loved him in my drunken stupor. he was so excited the next time we talked. i was hoping he forgot. i appologized and told him i was drunk and didnt mean what i said. i didnt want to lead him on. i felt soo bad.

there's an app for that...to prevent drunk text/dialing.

And with the iphone there's a DND setting you can set for certain times. IMO, if you're the type who's likely to engage in drunk texting/dialing, you might want to download the apps or set your phone to shut off all communications when you start drinking.
