I had the twists in alone at first but my hair is too thin to support all that.  Crochet is so much easier on my scalp and I can untwist them again and get a really afro kinky long look.

Its really important to twist counter clockwise with these.  Makes the twists look so neat and tidy.  it gets frizzier as you manipulate it so if you want to keep the coils for a while don't manipulate it too much.  Yeah I'll be rocking this for the next several months.

I have actually BUT, BUT reviewers who have done crochet with human hair said they would never do it again because the tangling at the roots (removal, etc.) was terrible.  Maybe the human hair intermingles with your braids somehow but I decided not to tempt fate.   Hopefully someone who has done it successfully will stop by the thread.

I was wondering about how the fold over thing worked with human hair (ends going in different directions and tangling).
