Tried looking at Iman but it wasn't yellow enough in the tones I wanted.

When I was looking at YouTube reviews, it looked like Iman stick went on dry and was harder to blend in.

It's funny how the two threads about makeup in this section are popping, but no one is ever in the makeup section when I go there.

NYX blushes is a must. Not drug store but found at bss. Under $5 they have a late variety of products. I've only purchased the blushes and jumbo pencils as base for eyeshadows

Thanks shady!

So I like this color. Please ignore the fact that it is the very very wrong shade for her skin tone.LOL

CC, I watched that video too the other day when I posted the other two about Black Opal.

I was gonna put hers up too, but I didn't want the thread to get derailed by her color choice and how much she caked on lol.

She is beautiful to me tho.

It's funny how I used to say I would never be a lipstick or blush girl, but I've come to love both. I don't wear lipstick everyday tho.

Yeah, she could have went a shade darker. I skimmed the video but I'm assuming the red she put under her eyes was a corrector. Speaking of that, I met a dark skin girl (Kelly R complexion) had the red stuff under her eyes. It look horrible on her. I never saw that before. Then months later, I went to Miami and saw another dark skin girl with the same red under her eyes and it was beautiful on her. Her makeup was actually flawless. I never seen anything like that before.

Okay  Truly Topaz is VERY yellow and nutmeg has more red in it.  I do have both of these and I blend them on a beauty sponge FIRST and then apply.  I'm not sure WHAT she was doing LOL

With the liquid oil free foundation Nutmeg looks fine alone but perfect when I mix in the liquid Truly Topaz.   I also have this combo in the True Even Liquid and the cream to powder because I don't have a lick of sense when it comes to buying make up.   You only need one set.

Remember ladies, if your skin tends to be oily go liquid over stick.   The stick is the bomb if you can get away with it though.  Just be sure to set it well.

IMAN is all over the place when it comes to red v yellow undertones.  I finally gave up after I bought almost every shade from Clay 1 to Earth 1.  It might take a lot of research but you should be able to find a good shade watching youtube videos.   I found that the Clay 5 stick is a great match for me and tends to lean yellow.  Blending from yellow is easier for me than balancing out red.

The make-up game.  Oy vay.   Where is Rumy?LOL

Ok, ordering Topaz/nutmeg sticks.

Kfoxx, you're red tone mention is reminding me of the make up sold in the mall. I forgot the name of it but it is for Black women but red as hell!LOL
