Dreads with braids for growth

I basically 2 strands twisted my hair into even sections and the braided all these little dreads into box braids with extensions.

The growth of my hair has been tremendous not to mention that its easier to braid and rebraid my hair because my hair is already sectioned and theres less braids.

Now i realized I don't want dreads anymore. I want the versatility later on when my hair is long. If I continue to keep my hair in two strand twists and braid my hair, will my hair grow really long? Or will it loc up?

Whenever I take down my braids I untwist my hair though. But yeah, great growth method
