I hate it when:
you get a pm asking for your hair info/regimen, etc, and you get back to them with very detailed information, and they never say a thank you or anything. (but you know they read it because you saw it in your Outbox)
With that, I am done with pming about hair.
(This is the only one at the moment.)

IA with you OP.
Vent starts NOW:
But I also HATE when random people(people Ive never had even one damN e-Convo with) send PMs without first saying hello or ASKING if you can help them/ assist them with a question...an additional e-Slap in the face is after going through all of the trouble/ research of helping.. not getting a simple THANK YOU. --- last month someone sent a PM that said: gimme the website where you buy your XYZ--and how often do you use it
And then after I responded with the information.. I never even got a f'n Thank you.
just today I received a PM that just simply said: Where u live? Where did you get product XYZ --- I would not just walk up to a stranger and ask for anything like that and then not thank them for their time/ assistance after helping.
This is not the first time this has happened and I am sure it will not be the last.
Have some freakin' e-Etiquette!!!!!
I know we all come from different walks of life and have different levels of education.. BUT PLEASE understand that when you send a PM, folks do not have to respond.
Because I am genuinely a nice person-- 9 out of 10 times I will respond.. But some days i'm just like.. naw.. IGNORE.
End of Vent

I hate when people ask questions that have already been answered in a thread. I understand if the thread is 20+ pages long. But dang if its a few pages long, please take the time to read before you ask a question, then catch a attitude when no one answers you, by repeating the question again w/ a exclamation.
Also when someone ask you for advice, you give then the typical disclaimer, then they message you back with a attitude b/c it didn't work for them, so they gotta make sure that you know it didn't work.
My biggest peeve: asking for advice on your hair about how it looks, but don't post a pic, they try to describe it and expect you to be able to answer, then get mad when they don't get the answer they want "Com'On Man"!!!!
End Rant, feel so much better

Ok, I'll play...
- when someone PMs you and you answer their question, and then they PM you back and ask you the same question again - but worded differently. UGH!
- when people post questions and you know they didn't research the answers before they contacted you, then they get mad when you send them to a thread...and then they ask you MORE questions that are already answered in the thread. Double UGH!

PS - I ALWAYS answer my PMs.

That actually doesn't bother me because they are right. Find out what works for you as opposed to trying to do something just because it works for everyone else. You may find that just because it works for the majority doesn't mean it works for you.
But my rant is don't you hate it when...
-You've tried everything in the book and you notice very little progress if any at all
-When a product actually works for your hair and you have good progress from it yet people on BHM tell you that you shouldn't use a product because of a certain ingredient. I say use what works for you and your hair even if it's considered to be a forbidden product for proper hair care.

Yes she does, you helped me alot in the beginning of my journey and I really appreciated it. You gave me alot of insight on products and choosing whats best for me. I also have modeled my Folki around yours, I put all my info so if people ask they can just find it all there. Thanks
Yes it does irritate me when people don't read also. I spent 3 weeks reading and writing stuff down before I ask anyone any type of questions.
