Tatee I flush my tampons most of the time. I do know the arguments why we shouldnt. I dont have a sani rem unit at home (DUH) and not all public restrooms (sometimes only 2 stalls) have sani-rem units and i feel bad for dropping a tampon (but not a pad) in the bin.

Why cant they offer those paper baggies like they used to. I feel like my tampon would still soak through the bag no matter how much tissue i wrap it in

Yes, I flush tampons. There small enough not to eff up your septic tanks like pads do.

As for the applicator, I wipe it clean with a bit of toilet paper and put it back into the applicator package and throw it away. Don't ask me why I just do

I think everyone flushes tampons except those with plumbing problems.

Yes Diane, cardboard over plastic

I don't use tampons but you could always put the plastic part in your recycling bin for the recycling truck.

damn, i was told by plumber back when i was a teenager never to flush tampons.  he said most of his work with backed up toilets came from women flushing tampons.

i dont even flush baby wipes.  the last plumber who stopped by looked at the box and said youre not flushing those are you... i was like no.

i only flush toilet paper.

One backhand box for Zolloh!

Derri Jamaicans dont recycle (some amount of plastic bottles and the soft drink and beer companies ask for the glass bottles back) but widescale recycling NOPE

Do recycling plants want/ask for/take them? Hygiene reasons

Tatee only the flushable wipes i flush (again my friend is flushing her wipes). I put my wipes in the sani rem unit in public and in a little plastic bag at home

Did a quick google, they aren't recyclable in the states.
Doubt they are here. Good thing I've never used them because I would have dropped that into my bin
