I am pissed right about now, so I want to let you all know that the body jet lipo is a scam. I got my surgery done November 2010 on my abs. Went to see my doctor in Feb. 2011 or March 2011, can't remember. He then tells me that black women's fat is stubburn and that is why my stomach had no results.
Ok, I'm pissed because he should have told me that before I forked over $4200 for this procedure. He did say that I could keep coming back for touch ups until I am satisfied, for free!
I have been reluctant to do so, but I look up his info this morning and seen that he has moved to Memphis. He was in Nashville. Ok, so I then call his secretary who told me to call the office,because he (the secretary) didn't work there anymore.
So I just called the office 10 minutes ago and said, "I am calling to schedule and appointment with Dr. Emerson for the body jet lipo." She said hold on, I guess she transfered me, but I got no answer, so then she comes back and said give me your name and number and I will have Casey call you back to schedule that.
Not once did she say that Dr. Emerson had moved to Memphis. I am not looking to get a touch up cause this business was on the news this morning about their botch Hormone Replacement Therapy and people are trying to sue. It has almost been a year since the surgery and Idk if statue of limitations has run out or not to file a claim against them. Although, they had me sign a form stating that I can't get a refund. So idk what to do. I just want to tell you guys to be careful when looking for someone to do any type of procedure. I saw warning signs like when they never offered to show me any before and after pictures. I had to ask. And then they were scrounching around to find some and when she did, I could tell those pictures where not picutures that the doctor had took in his office. She then told me well, we don't have the book of all of the procedures he's done, becuase he's teaching a class today and took it with him.
That was before I paid. Also I had to ask to see the doctor before my procedure was too get done. I wasn't even gonna meet him, they were just going to schuedule me for the surgery and was just going to see him the day of the surgery.
Another red flag. When I saw him, upon my request, it was in a small waiting room and all he did was have me raise up my shirt and then said I am a good candidate.
When doctors do this.....Run!!!
