Ok that's a lie. I will actively participate when people bring up Native Americans or Jewish people and the Holocaust.

this is basically how i feel.  allowing anyone to be treated like a second class citizen is not right and shows that we're still living in an unequal society.  everyone was warned about u.s. foreign policy abroad and no one cared until our rights at home began to erode.  i'm not going to act like i'm some super active champion for gay rights or perfect, but if i SEE a wrong, i try to respond with empathy.  clearly we had/have it BAD...who is disputing that by acknowledging the pain of another group?  there are plenty of other charities out there.

Will continue to support, ppl need clothes dammit.
Exactly. I don't understand why folks can't seem to grasp this concept.

Gurl you was finna get kicked out the CBB(Chubby Bish Brigade).....I was finna make you turn in yo elastic waist pants and Octopus pin......til I read thisLOL

I honestly don't think it rubs people the wrong way as much as there is a difference between not accepting a lifestyle and blatant hate. Too many LGBTs think people should accept their lifestyle when no one has to as long as mutual respect is there. People are allowed to have their beliefs. I get the political aspect, but most charities are political....because they are actively fight a cause. Every organization has a mission statement....

*clutches* pants & pin. ...from my cold, dead hands, word to chuck heston. LOL

for the 1st bolded, blatant hate has been dished out for the mentioned lifestyle. not in this instance, but it's not unheard of to the point of murder.

i fully agree with the 2nd  bolded and i feel it runs both ways. for instance, while i'm not religious, i can respect someone's choice of religious lifestyle without personally subscribing to it.

as for the latter, *winces* yeah. touche, man. par for the course i suppose.
