and next to the asians, we definitely have a dominican/puerto rican populated city to the max, and there's many salons owned by dominicans out here too.

Hey Mercedes....my name is Mercedes too and I'm also in MA...crazy!

Anyhoot, I know this post was a while ago but I just joined. You may be able to find some salons in the Malden area? Good luck though, because like all the other ladies said, most salons here are white salons and they have NO clue on how to do our hair.

Hi I live in Lowell Ma there are a few in lowell and a few in lawrence my mom has gone to the one in lawrence and loved it and when i was relaxed i went to a particular one in Lowell. The one in lowell is on central street it is called Divas you can probably find the phone number online, please only let Teresa handle your hair. There have been some questionable people working for her, last time i went she had a lady working for her but she was just as good as teresa but there is a lot of turnover with her employees.

I used to go to this salon in Dorchester. I remember it wasn't too far from irie's jamican rest. It was on a corner across from 2 gs stations. They did a good job. I cant remember the name though. I will try to find it out.

There are a few dominican salons in jamican plain on washington street.  I can't think of the names but I pass quite a few when I go down that street.  If you know anything about the areas it is down from the T.  Forest Hill  in between dudley.

I am somewhat stuck too on finding a good place to do natural hair.
