Tbh all the stimulation in the world would mean zero in my book if he couldn't hold a conversation and debate sports.
I love sport buffs.

I can't take a guy seriously if he doesn't like sports ,I don't even like guys who cheer for a team but knows nothing about them.

Politics is a close second :)

The last relationship I found myself looking upside his head quite a bit. He got on my nerves for spelling feel as fill...every. single. time.  Stern Smile

But it was not just that.. Our conversations were not stimulating to say the least.. It was just like me talking to a wall basically..

This guy that I am getting to know now that I have kept at arm's length for forever, he is making me question myself and I feel that he is smarter than I am. We have a lot in common and we talk about other things that stimulate the both of us so it all balances out. I have learned a few things that I did not know in the short time I started actually trying to get to know him..

We argue every time when it comes to a debate.

I feel like I just have to win!

Uggghhhh I can't stand that. I can't stand people who don't read. That's why bad grammar bothers me. If people read books they would know these things.

So what do you want to talk about with an SO? Or do you prefer all topics to be lighthearted? (serious question...not trying to be obnoxious)

IMO, some topics can be touchy in the beginning - politics & religion being one of them. And although I don't believe a couple has to agree with everything 100%, there are some things where if there's no consensus, it makes the relationship's longevity questionable (at least for me).

For politics, we DON'T have to agree, but I need to know you can do your own research rather than just relying on political pundits to fill your head up with stories.

Our debates lead to real arguments too.

Our worst two fights were over the agenda of President Obama and Tony Romo's value lol
