I read somewhere that filters doesnt necessarily stop hardwater but that you should get an actual water softner. Idk if I have hard water but I kno recently we got a new water heater thing but idk if that's a water softner

I know what your talking about and dr. oz from the oprah show said to get a charcoal remover on your shower head...They sell it at hardware stores it will definately help your hair and it wont be as dry and less build up!Approve
