she once asked me if guys still walk up to a woman and ask may I have this dance

See I can't dance, I just move like a stripper or video girl so we have a wedding coming up and I have already told my husband if it isn't r and b or hip hop I'm not dancing of course he's mad because he likes to dance and have fun and even knows how to kind of dance now a compromise would be me looking a fool on the dance floor doing the salsa or some sh*t but why should I have to dance if I don't want to  I honestly only know how to grind and touch my toes.....not dance at weddings

I'm looking at my niece's wedding video (she and her husband are both 26) and one of the few times that younger women AND men got on the dance floor was during line dances and that Wobble song

for the most part no.
but for the wedding - it may be that the guest really weren't "dancing" people. The mission of some receptions is to make sure no woman leaves with her shoes still on and others just well..... *shrugs*
