Well, it depends.
If I go to a Haitian party, we don't dance like that. It's only couple dancing so I can't relate on the front.
If it's a latino party, it's mostly couple dancing but once they start playing re eton I sit and watch in shocked amusement at the dancing.
West Indian parties, I don't dance with guys I don't know and I don't do anything insane.

i know how to hand dance, and tbh, a lot of women try to take the lead smh

jr.

That's rare. I practically forced my son to get dancing lessons before his wedding and he still ended up smacking, flipping and rubbing his bride down on the dancefloor.

I was so embarrassed but everyone had fun

so we have a wedding coming up and I have already told my husband if it isn't r and b or hip hop I'm not dancing

of course he's mad because he likes to dance and have fun and even knows how to kind of dance

now a compromise would be me looking a fool on the dance floor doing the salsa or some sh*t

but why should I have to dance if I don't want to

I honestly only know how to grind and touch my toes.....not dance at weddings

why doesn't he just teach you how to dance?

i want to take dance lessons with the dh one day.
It's so fun! Do it now. Just look for a local dance studio that has couples classes.

Hubby can barely slow dance but I still get him to when we have those rare opportunities.

I wish I knew ballroom dancing.  I love watching it.  So graceful and sweeping.

I'm going to an intensive this summer. I'm going to learn it so I can teach it. I want to teach something other than ballet.
