Hello girls!

I am comfortable with my body shape at the moment. my measurements are 34-29-45, my waist fluctuates between 29 and 30" but it's always in between those measurments. I am content with my booty, lol and I finally have a bit of more definition on the hips as I desired.

I weigh 143 pounds, this has been my stable weight for as long as I remember, I don't really fluctuate when it comes to that. I have never dieted with the goal of losing weight, and I don't want to lose weight in a dramatic manner either. But I have a little belly "pooch", it really doesn't show that much, but as a woman that I am... I am picky about the smallest thing I put my attention to. lol

I have thought of losing at least 5 pounds and see if that helps with lowering the belly a little, but I am concerned that I may lose those 5 pounds from my curvy sides. What do ya'll think?

The pooch doesn't bother me one bit if I wear leggings, tights, spandex, or dresses, in fact with these clothings it's not even there. But I normally wear jeans on a regular day to day basis and that's when it shows (since jeans are tighter or don't rise up as much). This is where it bothers me the most. And I hate jeans for that matter, out of all the pants I own I only have ONE pair of jeans that are very stretchy yet curve fitting and don't cause my belly to be tightened up and show.

Excercising doesn't really address the issue with this which is why I thought that maybe I should lose some pounds instead. But I don't want to lose anything from my booty or hips (not one single inch!!! LOL)

If you have a pouch, your best bet may be changing you diet to more clean eating.
Fat tends to accumulate around the mid section and give that pooch affect if your diet isnt good. Try it out for a month and see what happened.

Losing 5 lbs isn't enough of a weight loss for you to be concerned about losing your shape but that is just my opinion and personal observation. It sounds like you are worried about WHERE the 5 lbs will come from.

I agree about changing your diet. And exercise can address the issue IF you are doing the correct exercises. If you can strengthen your core, you can prepare it to burn fat around your midsection with cardio or other workouts. Unfortunately, you have the potential to burn fat everywhere. If you are a pear shape, your lower body won't be the first to go, if that brings hope into your life, LOL.

I would try CLA as well. I use it and the first thing that started slimming down was my lower stomach. I could start to see my panty line without lifting it up or moving it out the way, LOL.

With consistency and dedication, I think you will be just fine. Smile

Hey OP, your measurements are bangin :) i would trade you anyday!!!!!!

I used to be a lot heavier and one thing ive found that really kills tummy fat is getting rid of a lot of sugars and preservative junk in your diet. All that stuff accumulates around your waist but is the first thing to go once you lose weight. So go for it, im positive 5 lbs wont effect your curves :-)

(honestly a lot of us a probably carrying 5 lbs in water weight/ bloat right now !)
