No. And I don't let her see one of her friends dancing because her mom lets her do hoochie dances and I don't want my baby dancing like that.

We listen to classical, jazz, folk, Disney, nick, old school r&b, just positive happy music.

No nicca this, money, hoes, drug dealing...yada yada

I forgot that some super positive feel good real hip hop songs I let her hear. Like talib.

I don't allow my nieces or nephews to listen to this nonsense. Its too negative, too vulgar and to demeaning to women. I'm in my twenties but with each passing year the less I can stand it. We need to do better than listen to crap that perpetuates the most negative stereotypes about black people.

I don't understand the uproar over rappers not commenting about Ferguson because surely nobody is looking to them as pillars/leaders of the community considering the subject matter of most hip hop songs.

One time this kid told me my music (Lupe Fiasco) was stupid.
I almost pulled over & pushed him out the car.
Ever since then the radio stays on NPR when kids are in my car.

I listened to it growing up so I don't see a problem.
The thing is I would listen, and know the lyrics in my sleep but still had no idea what they were talking about.
