I think there is a market for the other stuff, but I don't see any black people within the industry willing to take the chance. Like afro said, history says we only want one thing, and history is easy to bank on.

With the PICS industry in general taking lots of losses on production with the internet becoming so popular, it prolly took away even the smallest chances of black productions being more adventurous.

I think that might be changing now though. There are a lot more niche productions out there because I think the average consumer of PICS is changing. They are tired of the PICS they grew up on. They want something different, which is where the parodies, reality PICS stuff is coming in.

I think a serious attempt at emulating xart or hegre-art, but with black people could work. I just don't think anyone is willing to try it. If someone did, I think they could make it rich off the strength of a small but loyal audience just like Zane did for erotic writing and Tyler Perry did for movies.
