I can't imagine the pain. I think it would only look nice if it were naturally that way rather than making them black.

It sounds worse than it is. It doesn't look bad, and those Senegalese ladies are lovely.

Didn't think about that. Colored in gums may look questionable compared to natural dark gums.

It is also a sign of beauty in Ethiopia too.  Oddly enough I was born with dark gums but both of my parents was born with pink gums.  Truth time: When I was younger I wanted to bleach my gums but there was no technology available at the time.  Now I just live with it.  But I do wanna close up my gap though.

My gums are dark.  I would look weird with pink gums.
