Because based off of some of the responses, I think some people are thinking full on hair twirling/flipping, lip licking and winky eyes while others are acting like just a smile & simple conversations = the death of a relationship.

IMO flirting is seriously engaging in banter or actions that creates sexual tension either overtly or covertly.

Being social and shooting the sh!t doesn't equal flirting in my opinion.

gurl I looked through this thread for this, hmm If the person is married I flirt in front of their spouse. Like brush their arm with my hand laugh at their jokes, talk ish about them and say " hey you look good today" or " have you been brushing your teeth lately it looks white".

I wouldn't do anything to/with a married person that I couldn't do in front of their SO or my SO...

F8 you my girl and all...but we would have a problem. There is a clear line (or should be) of respect given to someones union, and you crossing the line openly flirting in front of someone's spouse.

One of two things would happen, either my man would check you, or I would...I don't take kindly to disrespect.

There are rules to this shyt...now if you're on your own and the guy is single cool...flirt away, in the case of you knowingly flirting with someone whose taken, or worse flirting with the person in front of their spouse, it's like you're looking to cause a problem.

I was going to say this earlier this AM when I saw this but BHM wasn't letting me post.

My grandmother used to go apesh*t on women who she even thought looked at my grandfather the wrong way. But to brazenly flirt with him in front of her?! She'd snatch a chick bald headed without even thinking about it.

imo, a person in a relationship or marriage should probably be the one to disclose that if they feel as if the behavior is inappropriate in so far as they are concerned...
