 If I was in a pissed off mood, yes I would do that. But if it's his guest, he should be the host and make food for all of us and if it's my guest, I'll make the food. I think that's fair.

A friend of my S/O's is a friend of mine and all my friends know better than to ask me to cook. I always have food and if they are hungry they'll cook.

I was raised to fix a man's plate. wasn't verbally told "this is what you should do" but all the women in my family do it, and I guess it just latched on
I guess its a southern thing
