Say for example, your s/o's best friend came to spend the night (on a whim might I add and without your s/o even asking first, just telling. But that's another thead in itself.) If you get up to cook breakfast for yourself, would you make something for the friend too? Or is that your s/o's responsibility?

I would, it's just food, i wont begrudge anyone food plus it all ends up the same place. 'Cause even though the person is an univited guest they are still a guest under my, our roof. But more than likely I'd wake up after twevlve noon (like i did today) and this would not be an issue. Hell I dont even cook more time.

My mommy has supm she inherited from her grandfather if it can feed five, it can feed 3 more and that kindness with sharing food, making plates etc.

Absolutely. Maybe the southern hospitality. No one comes into my house without having something eat. I usually cook more anyways and hate when there is waste so I welcome the opportunity to feed more people.

Ugh. I have my reservations for cooking for others because cooking is not one of my strong suits. Im too embarrassed to mess something up. What I dont get though is how you can lay in bed all day and not even ask your friend if he's hungry, like wtf? I guess they have that kind of understanding though. Bf had to find his own food when he went to stay with his friend for a week. That I do not understand.

Of course I would feed his friend. I wouldn't want the friend to feel uncomfortable. No need to ruffle feathers.
A guest is a guest no matter how much notice I was given. Plus I love cooking for people.
