know or know of anyone who just seems to be a hopeless case and just
thought that jail is the only place for them?I was out with some
friends last night at a usual spot in the city, an otherwise chill
setting, just people there wanting to have a good time. However this
particular night there were a number of people from a ratchet part of
the town I grew up in and I just knew there was gonna be trouble
And
lo and behold 5 or 6 fights broke out, one of which I recognized a guy
who was thrown out by security. We went to high school together and he
was a couple years my junior and I had a flash back to a time I was
walking down the hallway in school and this kid was pacing the halls all
swole up and several of the black male teachers and the school officer
were attempting to calm him down. I dont recall what the event was that
caused this but he was acting very aggressively and disrespectful to
people who were trying to help him. I just always remember him being in
fights and always in trouble.
Last night when I saw him being
carried out, I remember thinking "They just need to lock him up and keep
him there." I was a little shocked at my own thoughts, I've never
thought that about anyone until last night. This kid just seemed like a
hopeless case to me, he's just unruly and out of control with no respect
for authority of any kind, not even the black male techers from high
school who I know have tried working with him. Things like this make me very sad
