You know you in black church when the preacher complains about what's in the collection plates, shames the congregation, then passes the plates again calling people out row by row.

Word. I know plenty of people who only come to Sunday school when they serve breakfast beforehand.

You know you attend a Black Church when atleast one sermon that month involved the pastor talking about tithing and giving. Sometimes it has nothing to do with what the Sermon started off with but it just happens to slip in...

You know you attend a Black Church when the pastor says he's finishing in the next 5-10 minutes when actually he finishes in 20 minutes to half an hour.

Or when the pastor makes a statement such as "Don't worry ya'll I'll finish my sermon by such and such time because I know how ya'll get when I preach for too long."

You know you go to a black church when people sneak out of church through the bathroom. And when the pastor calls them out the next Sunday for always doing so.

You know you go to a black church when the people with kids bring snacks to church "for the kids" when really they brought the snacks for themselves to eat because church is so long you end up famished looking like you belong on a feed the children ad by the time church is over.
