I don't Think its the Wig Caps that Dry out hair I Actually Thinks its the Lack of Air To the Scalp Like Have You Ever had a sew in or Braids & noticed at Night When you tie it up it itchyes so Much ? & when You Have Braids You Notice white Flakes because Your hair is dry due to lack of air to the scalp?

I have noticed that my hair is dryer after I take off the cap. I usually moisturize before putting it on so it's not too bad, but you can definitely tell some of the moisture has evaporated.

Instead of using the nylon wig cap, try using either a mesh or cotton wig cap. At least with either choice your hair and scalp can breathe and have less trying effects on your hair.

That was a good question I'm just got my first wig and I need all the tips and help I can get. My hair follicles are closing and it was recommended by my dermatologist. I also have traction alopecia.
