As a Brooklyn girl, I am a die hard Spike Lee fanatic.

Crooklyn was great. It reminded me of the childhood my parents always told me stories of at it was a character I could relate to. I was Troy's age when the movie came out and was a little girl from Brooklyn just like her.

Mo Betta Blues is an amazing film IMHO. It teaches family values, friendships, loyalty...........just great... It's also amazing to few backdrops in Brooklyn that are populated by 90% white. For example Dumbo.

I'm sure he would like that too. But he can't get funding like that. He's too militant and white people see some of his truth telling as him being racist and antisemitic. He'll never get the full recognition that he deserves

I really liked that movie, up until the corny ending on the beach. He should have cut that scene out, it kinda ruined it. Derek Luke Heart

Inside Man
Jungle Fever - I remember I felt so bad for Annabella when her father whipped her ass...and when that store owner liked the pretty black woman who would come into his store but his fams/friends would fucc with him about it.  Talmbout how they would smash but she's a nig.ger so you don't wife it.  (or something like that)
