yeah i wasnt offended by the movie. i liked it and would like to see it again but selling an uncle tom doll doesnt sit well with me. but to each his own.

I wonder if America would be okay with a comedy depicting....

9/11...or pearl harbor...... or school shootings?

Would those be okay or are those off limits?

Those are just collectables. There is a strong niche market out there of people who collect merch from directors and favorite movies. My dad is one of those people. He has all kinds of movie collectables, dolls, action figures, that he keeps in the box.
