Everybody has just married/had children with other African-Americans. My grandfather is Cape Verdean descent from Portugal...I think that may be considered black? I am honestly not sure because I don't know if he considers himself black...I don't think his parents considered themselves black... |
I can't tell you how he considers himself but he could very likely have african in him. Cape Verde is an island of the coast of Africa and it was very busy in the slave trade. This is probably the most famous cape verdean artist, she had an amazing voice beautiful voice (Cesaria Evora), I have a cd of hers. They don't all look like Kanye's ex

Thats just me between my own parents, i have cousins who are Mexican on their mother's side and cousins who are Haitian or Jamaican on their dads ... and i have a cousin who lives in Nigeria and married a Nigerian man.

just regular black...I used to think my great grandma was white when I was younger, but she was just very sick and had cateracts. my father swears his great grandmother was cherokee and that's why he has good hair
