I don't believe that Wags hair is the issue. Like some other posters said, it happened w/other vendors and it makes sense when you think about it. Unlike our own hair that is constantly growing, usually (hopefully), faster than it's breaking, weave/wig hair isn't growing so it will get shorter. In my case, same hair for 4 YEARS, I'm def not complaining! lol. I just never thought about it and it seemed so sudden.
I'm a Wags girl for life unless they drastically change.
I ordered 2 oz of 16/20. (she said it measured 19" so that should be perfect).Luckily they had a half bundle left over. Not a normal thing because I asked for 2oz each of 16/20 & 20/24. They didn't have any 20/24. So I'm going to take this wig apart and measure all the lengths to get a full layered length that will graduate into 26". I may have to cut half of the 26" bundle to make it look right. Can't be rocking a mullet.
I think I can pull this off. One time my installer add a strip of netting at the bottom of my install that she sewed a weft onto to get my install to hang longer, like a flap extender that gave me about 2" of length. I just had planned to sew this u-part down because it's warming up and I LOVE wearing my hair up so that "flap" of added material may make that hard. I MAY just get another sew in install and go back to my u-part next time. I really miss my updos..If all else fails, I'll bite the bullet and buy another bundle of 20/24 or 24/28, knowing that in time, it will get shorter. When I get the 2oz tomorrow I'll be able to visiualize my plan of attack, lol.
Quality hair will last YEARS,so knowing that now, I will always order the next longer length and bundles of staggered lengths because it time, it will get shorter. my 1st order 4 yrs ago was 3 bundles of 20/24, if I knew then what I know now, I would've gotten a 24/28,20/24 and a 16/19.
