Kinky straight: everyone loves it because it looks so realistic. They always compliment how thick and healthy my hair is

Natural hair: ladies love it. Black men hate it. White folk like it

Pressed hair: bw side eye and weave check

Any weave other than kinky straight: indifferent. I usually get compliments from everyone

all types of men and women loved my 28 inch KS and my 18 inch coarse yaki's.
 
latinos especially loved my 18 inch yaki'd kinky curly
 
my boy likes my body waves and 3c curly units (he's Indian....from Trinidad)
 
my 12 inch coarse yaki's -  it was meh all around
 
my 28 inch CVR's  all men and white women loved it and complemented it.  majority black women were steeped in salt
 
my bald head  majority white men and a few afrocentric playas would try to holla.  Black women think that i'm gay or transitioning.  White women think I have/had cancer.
 
 
so yeah...*shrugs* different hair, different reactions.

Yup. When I wer my natural hair I only get approached by black men who are like..."My sistahhh, down with the man"

When I have straighter weaves I get approached by other types. It's crazy

I get the most compliments from strangers and my SO when I wear my really short "Mommy Wig".
Whites love my puff (natural or drawstring ponytail)
Hispanics love my chinese deep wave and coarse yaki
SO likes my wet bun

I would say I get the same amount of attention from men whether my hair is yaki straight, body wave, or 3c curly. And I usaually get the most compliements from women of all races when my hair is long with 3c curls.

Twist out: I get lots of compliments because my hair is big and thick in that state.

Straight hair: mostly surprised looks and compliments because I usually wear my hair up in a messy bun.

Messy bun: no one cares lol

I get way more attention w curly hair...I prefer straight hair though.
