That sucks really. The first time I brought from them it really had a bad smell so I washed the hair then air dried it. Once dry I put it in a bag with mint extract for two days. Smell gone!

As of right now, I have the hair soaking in tomato juice, which I'll let sit overnight. If this doesn't work, I'll try the mint extract. This is a lot to go thru over some punk a$$ hair!

Please update us on how the tomato juice works, since I hear that is what people use for the skunk smell.

I used the tomato juice and every thing one can possibly think of. Unfortunately, the scent will never go away.....when you think its gone it will be back especially when hair is wet.

To mask the scent I use downy when i shampoo my hair and i use paul mitchel mint shampoo. That gives me at least two to three days of great smelling hair :)

This is my 3rd month wearing this hair and I wash it everyweek.

The tomato juice worked; I rinsed it really good and let it soak in Downy for an hr or so... washed that out and let it airdry. I'm gonna be back with install pics soon (once I retire this cute lil wig I got!!)
